Bridge Over Troubled Waters

Bridging the gap between a problem and its solution

Caring for a loved one can be a difficult job at the best of times – and now and again something comes along which makes it difficult to manage without a little extra help. We can provide the assistance you need at those times of transition or stress. These may include:

  • Illness or injury of a carer
  • Changes in the health of a loved one
  • Moving home
  • Waiting for a care package to be put in place

How does it work?

We provide a service of care support tailored to your individual short-term requirements. When you contact us, a member of our team will work with you to ensure you get the help you need, just when you need it. The service is flexible and suited to the individual.

How much does it cost?

Support costs £15 per hour – you may be able to access assistance for this via Self-Directed Support. We can help you apply for this.

Self-Directed Support

If you or a loved one has a care need, Self-Directed Support (SDS) allows you control of the assistance you get. There are a number of options to choose from and if you qualify for SDS, we can help you find the right package of care.
