A Hub can mean different things to different people but the Golspie Village Hub is very simple – it is an informal place for people to come, meet up with friends – old and new, to have tea, coffee and a chat and join in with a variety of activities. Everyone is welcome – we all like to get out of the house from time to time and the Hub is the perfect place for that. Come for half an hour or stay from start to finish, it’s up to you.
Golspie Village Hub is held at the Masonic Hall, Station Road, Golspie. The Hub is open from 11am until 2pm every Thursday. See the calendar below for details of our forthcoming activities.
What happens at the Hub?
Each day we have tea and chat on arrival, catching up with the daily papers and, of course, local happenings! There are different activities each week for people to join in with, only if they wish. There is also a soup and sweet for lunch each day.
Activities include music from some of Sutherland’s excellent local talent, exercises, trips and outings, games and much more! We welcome any ideas and suggestions for things you would like to see happening at the Hub.
For more information or to discuss transport options please call Wendy on 01431 821655.
How much does it cost?
£5.50 for a soup and sweet lunch along with tea, coffee and cake/biscuits.
Everyone is welcome at Golspie Village Hub!
Golspie Village Hub was launched in October 2019 in order to reach more people within our East Sutherland communities.
