Throughout 2022, we ran monthly Discovery Walks with the aim of encouraging people within our communities in East Sutherland to reap the benefits of being outdoors and discovering their local area, noticing things they have never seen before, and making new friends.

We had two sets of the walks, Discovery Walks and our Dog-Friendly Discovery Walks. Our Dog-Friendly Discovery Walks are continuing in 2023.

Dog-Friendly Discovery Walks

These walks take in a variety of the most beautiful areas of East Sutherland. Previous walks have taken place on Brora beach, Camore Woods, Balblair Woods, Uppat Woods, Skelbo Wood and Dunbeath Heritage Walk. Each walk finishes with a tea and coffee stop at a local cafe.
